*So Glad You Asked That*

A question was posed at one of the Facebook groups I belong to that sparked me into creating a whole post about it in this blog.

The question is -

Why should the city be responsible for the homeless?

Here in Seattle folks have been brainstorming in how they can effectively help our city's desperate problem of homelessness. They were asking Facebook people to toss out their ideas but they had to be ideas with a rather strict budget in mind.

If you're reading this I will assume you are doing so in an effort to understand the plight of the homeless and possibly even be looking for ways to help them.

That's a (very) good thing.
Educating yourself with the dynamics of homelessness will empower you to help on a level that you feel most comfortable and gratified with.
